✅ Step 1: Marinate the Chicken

  • In a bowl, mix chicken with buttermilk, salt, pepper, and hot sauce (optional).
  • Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or overnight.

✅ Step 2: Prepare the Coating

Set up 3 bowls:
  1. Dry Mix: Flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper
  2. Wet Mix: Beat the eggs
  3. Crunchy Mix: Breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes

✅ Step 3: Coat the Chicken

  • Remove chicken from the marinade.
  • Dredge in dry mix → dip in eggs → coat in breadcrumbs.
